Fluval Stratum is an ideal substrate for fresh plants and is shrimp and fish safe.
Naturally mineral rich volcanic soil that is the Mont Aso Volcano in Japan.
Provides a substrate that stimulates vigorous plant growth. Its consistent size and porous structure not only provide a mix of minerals and nutrients that are beneficial to plants but provides a large surface area for beneficial bacteria colonisation.
It provides an attractive substrate will not discolour water and has properties that helps control organic discolouration such as leaching from natural driftwood.
Fluval Stratum's natural profile will soften the water and produces a pH that is Neutral to mildly acidic providing a chemistry that is beneficial to the growth of most aquatic plants.
