Aqua One Lifestyle Aquarium Raffle Terms & Conditions

1. Ticket Price

  • Each raffle ticket costs $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00.

2. Organising Organisation

  • The raffle is conducted on behalf of The 4K Charity (Number – CFN/25992
    ABN 78 092 957 168), by We Know Pets and shall hereinafter referred to as the "Organising Organisation."

3. Prizes and Recommended Retail Value

  • The prizes for this raffle and their respective recommended retail values are as follows:
    • First Prize: Aqua One Lifestyle Aquarium 29L, valued at $175.00.

4. Place, Date, and Time of Draw

  • The raffle draw will take place at We Know Pet, Station St, Bowral, NSW on Saturday 16 October 2023 at 3.00pm. All times are in accordance with the local time zone.

5. Notification of Prize Winners

  • Prize winners will be notified through the contact information provided during the purchase of raffle tickets. The organisation  will make reasonable efforts to contact winners within 1  days following the draw. If contact cannot be established within 7 days, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.

6. Announcing Results on Social Media

  • The results of the raffle draw, including the names of the prize winners, will be announced on the official social media channels of the Organising Organisation within 2 days of the draw. Winners' names may be mentioned on the Organising Organisation's website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.

7. Eligibility

  • The raffle is open to residents of New South Wales, Australia, who are 18 years of age or older. Ticket purchasers may be required to provide proof of age.

8. Ticket Sales

  • Ticket sales will commence on Monday 23 October and conclude on Saturday 25 November 2023.
  • Tickets can be purchased in store at We Know Pets, Station St, Bowral, NSW
  • Tickets will be sold only to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria.

9. Prize Collection

  • Winners must claim their prizes within 10 days from the date of notification.
  • Prizes must be collected in person at the Organising Organisation's office or another designated location.
  • Proper identification and proof of purchase (raffle ticket) will be required to claim prizes.

10. Unclaimed Prizes

  • If any prize remains unclaimed within 7 days after the initial notification, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.

11. Refund Policy

  • Raffle tickets are non-refundable.

12. Tax Liability

  • Prize winners are responsible for any tax obligations resulting from the receipt of their prize. The Organising Organisation takes no responsibility for the tax implications of any prizes awarded.

13. Conduct of the Raffle

  • The raffle will be conducted in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing charitable gaming in New South Wales.

14. Privacy Policy

  • By participating in the raffle, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information by the Organising Organisation for the purpose of this raffle. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Organising Organisation's privacy policy.

15. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

By purchasing a raffle ticket, participants acknowledge their acceptance of and agreement to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in the disqualification of a ticket holder from participating in the raffle.
